The International Student Program (ISP) team includes immigration advisers and academic counselors and who will help with all aspects of your college experience, from admissions and visas to campus life, degree programs, and assistance with transferring to a four-year university.
Unfortunately, due to complex visa processes in the US Embassy of Yangon (Myanmar), El Camino cannot support applications from Myanmar at this time. Myanmar students, who are currently in the US on an F-1 Visa are welcome to apply to El Camino College as transfer students.
The application for the Spring 2025 semester will open in the second week of September.

Once you have been issued an acceptance letter, you will give the acceptance letter to your current school in order to transfer your I-20 record from your current school to El Camino College. Please refer to the application packet information for additional requirements.
Complete all sections of the downloadable application including a recent photo. You may type directly into this two-page document to submit.

The above fees represent the minimum established tuition and living expenses that an international student can expect to pay while attending El Camino College. Applicants must show funding of U.S. $22,500 in order to receive the I-20. The I-20 is the document needed to apply for the F-1 Visa. Fees are subject to change at any time. Summer session and winter session fees are not included above as summer and winter terms are optional. All tuition and fees are subject to change. The college health insurance plan must be purchased by all international students.
3. Proof of English ProficiencyStudents from non-English speaking countries will need to provide proof of sufficient language skills in reading, writing, and speaking to benefit from instruction at the college level. Proof of English Proficiency is required if your native language is English. New students may demonstrate their English language proficiency by submitting passing scores. Test scores must be recent (no more than two years old).

4. TranscriptsTranscripts are submitted to El Camino for various reasons. Please provide transcripts of college and secondary grades translated into English, and follow the directions below to ensure transcripts arrive at the correct department on campus.

5. Copy of Information Page from PassportSend a color copy of the information page of your passport that contains your picture and other information.
6. Application FeeTo process the application and issue an acceptance letter and I-20, El Camino requires a $50 application fee. 7. Copy of I-20 (Transfer-in students only)If you are an F-1 student already in the U.S. and transfer-in to El Camino College

The next step letter includes student ID#, ECC username, ESL testing info, Counseling info, and Orientation info. Please follow the instruction in the letter to complete your enrollment. The orientation date and time will be listed in the letter.
